6 Easy Steps to Using AccentFX PRO


After you re-start Movie Maker, your custom AccentFX PRO effects(s) will appear in Movie Maker’s Effects list (at the TOP of the list) as "AccentFX 01" "AccentFX 02" etc., ready to be dragged onto any video clip or still-image clip in the Movie Maker timeline like a standard effect. Note you can create a fresh set of custom AccentFX PRO effects for each new project. Older projects will still retain their earlier set! Cool!

Features Common to All Wizards

Wizards 5.0 is a separate program from Movie Maker. Access it by double-clicking the Wizards icon on your desktop (installed by our demo or purchased version). Or choose it in your Start > Program Files > Pixelan menu. Note you can keep the Wizards open while working in Movie Maker for reference or quick adjustments. Below are additional features in all Wizards.



What's New in 5.0

Keyframing. Now you can keyframe the highlight area to follow a MOVING subject in a video clip (or in a panned still-image). This feature is especially terrific for sports clips and action shots! Even complex highlight paths are possible. The keyframer is similar to what's in the PanZoom PRO Wizard.
Precise positioning. Right-click in the preview to numerically enter the position of an accent area. Great for matching accents in adjacent Movie Maker clips.
Attractive fades. Fifteen new fades in the Timing palette complement the zoom transitions there.
Built-in Help panel. Key steps and tips are integrated into the interface for easy reference. Turn on or off the Help window as desired.
Improved saving of Favorites. Save/load just the current accent effect, or all in the Wizard -- for convenient future use in a different project.
Improved clearing. Last but not least, clearing unwanted AccentFX effects when starting a fresh Movie Maker project is now a one-click process. Cool!

• Positioning. Drag the purple center 'handle' in the preview to move the highlight area EXACTLY where desired for your subject or action! Never before have Movie Maker users had this power! Note that in SpiceFX 5.0 the highlighted area can FOLLOW a moving subject in the scene -- with simple but powerful keyframing we provide.
		Move the soft elliptic transition from center frame to over the water drop action -- much better!

• Lots of Highlight Shapes. 24 useful shapes to choose from, as shown at left. Each one can be positioned ANYWHERE in your clips, as shown above. Larger image

• Cool Extra Looks. Various edge Softness choices, ANIMATED edge Texture presets and many more Accent presets are included. At left are a few examples of the hundreds of combinations possible! (The best way to see ALL of their power is to download our DEMO.)

• Unlimited Color Choices. Click the small triangle in the Border or Accent button's lower corner for a color picker to set the border or outer accent color as desired, such as to match or complement colors in your clip.
