PanZoom PRO Wizard for Movie Maker   ENHANCED!          Previous  |  Next

Easily create CUSTOM pan/zooms for your Movie Maker projects! Simply drag the blue START and red END frame in PanZoom PRO's right window to set the start and end of your pan/zoom, then drag either frame's edge to set the zoom amount by enlarging or reducing the frame's size. It's easy and completely visual! This Wizard is a great complement to our PanZoom Effects Pack E2 of 99 pre-made pan/zoom effects.

PanZoom PRO
for Movie Maker exclusively provides subtle acceleration/deceleration (i.e. ease in and ease out) at the beginning/end of the move for a true professional touch. It also includes a high-res option for large still-images or panoramas that will 'attach' the image to the exported effect, providing MUCH SHARPER output than Movie Maker normally can do with pan/zooms. Last but not least, sophisticated keyframing is available to easily make a complex, multi-part pan/zoom move all in one effect, greatly simplifying applying such effects in the Movie Maker timeline.

Features Common to All Wizards

Wizards 5.0 is a separate program from Movie Maker. Access it by double-clicking the Wizards icon on your desktop (installed by our demo or purchased version). Or choose it in your Start > Program Files > Pixelan menu. Note you can keep the Wizards open while working in Movie Maker for reference or quick adjustments. Below are additional features in all Wizards.

Features Common to All Wizards

What's New in 5.0

Precision.
Right-click the right window to numerically enter the position/size of either pan/zoom rectangle. Now it's a snap to match pan/zoom positions in adjacent Movie Maker clips.
Longer previewing.
Longer Wizard previewing (up to 30 seconds) is now possible to better simulate your long pan/zoom clips.
Built-in Help panel. Key steps and tips are integrated into the interface for easy reference. Turn on or off the Help window as desired.
Improved saving of Favorites. Save/load just the current pan/zoom, or all in the Wizard -- for convenient future use in a different project.
Improved clearing. Clearing unwanted PanZoom effects when starting a fresh Movie Maker project is now a one-click process. Cool!

SUPERB Creative Control -- Just a Few Easy Clicks!

Below are key features in the PanZoom PRO Wizard for Movie Maker, all of which are exclusive features available nowhere else. To see first-hand PanZoom PRO's creative power, download our demo, which is a very easy download and automatically installs into Movie Maker -- no technical know-how required!

Hi-Resolution Results for Large Still-Images! Turn on the check box shown at right to 'attach' the Reference Image to the exported pan/zoom effect, providing MUCH SHARPER output than Movie Maker normally can do with pan/zooms of large still-images or panoramas.

• Ease-in/ease-out professional acceleration/deceleration of motion. Click the Ease button and choose from 6 options to add a professional ease (i.e. acceleration/deceleration) to the beginning and/or end of the panzoom's movement.

Powerful keyframing.

Sophisticated keyframing is available to easily make a complex, multi-part pan/zoom move within one clip. Here's how: (1) In the right window, drag the blue (and red) frames to a desired start (and end) look. (2) View a desired intermediate point between the start or end, using the Play button or other controls under the Preview in the main window. (3) Click the Add Keyframe '+' button (shown above) to add an intermediate keyframe. Note that the segment in front of the keyframe will then appear green (active) in the keyframe line, with blue and red markers in the line corresponding to the blue and red frames. (4) Now the Start and End frames shown will be just for that active segment. Drag the blue Start frame to adjust the position or zoom of the new keyframe. (5) Repeat steps 2-4 as desired for additional keyframes (as many as 8 in total).
Tip: To revise any segment, click the keyframe line in that portion of the duration. Then drag either frame as desired. Also, any keyframe marker in the line can be dragged left or right anytime to revise its timing.
