PanZoom™ for Movie Maker
Now you can have CUSTOM pan/zooms for each Movie Maker project! Drag frames in PanZoom's preview to easily/visually set the start and end location of any pan or zoom, then drag to resize the frames to set the zoom amount. It's easy and completely visual! Unlike other pan/zoom effects, ours include subtle acceleration/deceleration at the beginning/end of the move for a true professional touch! A great complement to our PanZoom Effects Pack E2 of 99 pre-made pan/zoom effects. |
5 Easy Steps to Using PanZoom
After you re-start Movie Maker, your effects(s) will appear in Movie Maker’s Effects list as "PanZoom 1" "PanZoom 2" etc., ready to be dragged onto the timeline like any standard effect. Note you can create a fresh set of custom PanZoom effects for each new project. Older projects will still retain their earlier set. Cool!

PanZoom PRO adds the following powerful features:
• Keyframing to create complex pan/zooms! Set up to eight keyframes so you can pan, hold, zoom, etc. all within one effect. This saves you from having to split a clip into multiple pieces in the Movie Maker timeline, then applying a different pan/zoom effect to each piece to cumulatively create a complex pan/zoom move.

To create a complex pan/zoom:
1. Drag the blue (and red) frames to a desired start (and end) look.
2. View a desired intermediate point between the start or end, using the Play button, slider or buttons under the Preview in the main window.
3. Click the Add Keyframe '+' button (shown above) to add an intermediate keyframe. Note that the segment in front of the keyframe will then appear green (active) in the keyframe line, with blue and red markers in the line corresponding to the blue and red frames.
4. Now the Start and End frames shown will be just for that active segment. Drag the blue Start frame to adjust the position or zoom of the new keyframe.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 as desired for additional keyframes (as many as 8 in total).
Tip: To revise any segment, click the keyframe line in that portion of the duration. Then drag either frame as desired. Also, any keyframe marker in the line can be dragged left or right anytime to revise its timing. |
• Attach Your Source Clip for Sharpest Still-Image Output. A GREAT feature for working with high-res still-images in your pan/zoom movies. Use the Clip button to load the desired still-image. Then turn on the Attach the above Clip to the effect for best quality output check box. When applying in Movie Maker the custom effect to the same still-image, you will get MUCH SHARPER final output than Movie Maker can normally do.
| • Ease Motion Presets. Click the Ease button to choose a acceleration/deceleration preset for each effect you create, giving you full control over the highly-desirable professional motion smoothness that we uniquely provide. No other panzoom tool for Movie Maker offers this! |
 |
• Larger Setup Window. The right window is larger in PanZoom Pro to make accurate positioning of each custom pan/zoom effect even easier.
 |
|
• Add to Name. Optionally append the effect's name (i.e. "waterdrop") as a reminder in Movie Maker of your intended clip. In Movie Maker, it will appear as shown at right. |

• Save/Load Favorite Transitions. Load into your current project any favorite transition saved earlier. |
| • 100+ Undo/Redo. Great for experimenting! |
