"Creatively selected tools coupled with carefully designed presets, these tools are a bargain. Overall, the CreativEase suite offers users thousands of additional options not found within the host applications, or as augmentations of the host application tools, and are made to be a more intuitive than similar plug ins. The applications are very well designed and considered, given the options for viewing the applications, the documentation, the ability to show/hide portions of the applications, and the hundreds of user-friendly presets on top of the ease of use. Strengths: Very creative, even when the muse isn't inspiring great visuals. Easy to impress clients with, light on CPU, user-selective Packs. Ability to add custom-Spices is terrific. Documentation is solid and presets are numerous. Organic and artistic rather than numeric and fixed. The typical edit session will find several tools useful for standard image enhancements as well."

Looking Good with Sony Vegas by Jeffrey Fisher
People want to look their best on camera. Usually they'd like a little smoothing out of facial features and hiding some minor imperfections. I turn to the Sony Vegas third-party Pixelan CreativEase BlurPro plug-in which includes some great preset effects ready for tweaking... If you take the same BlurPro plug-in to an extreme, you can easily get that much sought after "live-action animation" look popularized by the Charles Schwab commercials.

I have to say Pixelan's implementation of keyframe animation is one of the most intuitive and reliable I've encountered... CreativEase represents excellent value for money. We liked its ease of use, stability, low cost. Especially liked the fact that these effects have a different look and feel to other commonly used effects packages, so your videos look fresh and original... The results look superb and are easy to achieve, and there's a vast array of possibilities included in the packs. Compared with the price of Boris Red or After Effects, CreativEase is a steal!"
